Church-Sponsored Trips

Welcome to the Travel Medicine Clinic!

As an approved Yellow Fever Vaccination Center by the Indiana State Department of Health, we are here to help make your trip a healthy and enjoyable one. Only officially designated medical facilities are authorized to administer the yellow fever vaccine which is required for travel to many countries.

Services can be provided pre-travel, while you are away, and when you return.

Pre-Travel Services include:

  • Assessment of health risks specific to your travel itinerary
  • A wide selection of articles and information sheets as well as specific country and region updates on disease outbreaks and emerging health risks
  • Advice about reducing your risk of contracting infectious diseases through exposure to contaminated food, water, insects and other parasitic agents
  • Advice on appropriate vaccinations and medications for your trip

Depending on your itinerary, we recommend you schedule an appointment four to six weeks prior to your trip to review your travel and health history and determine what vaccinations and preventative medications you may require for your journey.

We can provide you with all mandatory immunizations that your host countries require and provide an International Certificate of Vaccination to keep with your passport.

We can also prescribe medications to prevent malaria, altitude and motion sickness, and to treat diarrhea according to your individual needs and health and travel history.

Our services are designed for the following individuals and groups:

  • Church-sponsored missions
  • Business travelers
  • Travel agents
  • General practitioners and their patients
  • General public
