The internship offers these benefits:

Monthly stipend and coverage by the company's professional liability insurance
Exclusive work with law enforcement and fire department personnel
Practical experience and training in exercise testing, exercise prescription, communication skills, and data collection and management

Minimum Requirements:

At least a senior level student studying exercise science or related field
Completion of all core exercise science courses
CPR certification

Up to 16-week internships are offered year-round. Here are the time frames:

Semester	Internship Period	Applications Due
Fall/Winter	September through December	July 15
Winter/Spring	January through April	October 31
Summer	May through August	March 31
