Ron Rice, MD

Dr. Rice is a General Internal Medicine physician who is recently retired from active practice. Since 1995, he has been assisting with medical exams at Public Safety Medical Services. He also serves as the Indianapolis Police Department Pension Board Medical Director. Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. Rice received his education from Indiana University. He served his internship and first year of residency at Cincinnati General Hospital, followed by a 2-year stint as a Captain in the Air Force. His 2nd and 3rd year of residency was performed at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Rice previously served for 20 years as an Internal Medicine physician at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Residing in Hamilton County, he has a son and daughter and 1 grandchild.
